Every single day, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Community Helpline provides a free, confidential, and empathetic safety net for individuals experiencing loneliness, crisis, or emotional distress. Operating this vital community resource requires continuous infrastructure maintenance and comprehensive volunteer training.
The funds raised through this campaign will directly support:
- Training Crisis Listeners: Funding the rigorous training materials and supervision required to equip our dedicated volunteers.
- Sustaining Technology: Upgrading the critical call-routing software that ensures every neighbor can reach a compassionate voice when they call between 8 AM and 8 PM.
- Expanding Community Outreach: Raising awareness so that local schools, youth programs, and vulnerable populations know they never have to face a crisis alone.
