We are eternally grateful for all those individuals and families who have advocated for mental health through contributions to Community Helpline's funding. Every dollar counts and goes toward improving communities.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn funds organizations within the Fourth District that are providing excellent services to our South Bay residents.
As an organization who fulfills social needs of the residents of the LA County such as health, safety, welfare, and disability services, we have been granted funding by Janice Hahn.
We deeply thank you for funding our ever growing organization!
211 LA (or 211 LA County) is the hub for community members and community organizations looking for all types of health, human, and social services in Los Angeles County—providing information and referrals from Los Angeles County's official comprehensive database of over 50,000 health and human services, to the services that best meet individual needs, through their 24 hour 2-1-1 call line, website and chat.
Our partnership with 211’s referral to our lines has accounted for at least 25% of all known resources that have referred us to callers. 211’s free service and our free lines, having a partnership with 211 has not only benefited us, but also thousands of lives in many communities across the United States.
We have collaborated with 211 on the LA vs Hate campaign, by 211 referring individuals who have been victims or witnesses to acts of bullying or incidents motivated by hate or discrimination to connect with Community Helpline.
